PANTENE: The Toughest Job Interview Film

Pantene believes that every woman should live without limits, whatever choice she makes for herself, especially her hair.

In this social experiment, we put a spotlight at a requirement commonly found in job advertisements in Indonesia: berpenampilan menarik (looks attractive). Tainted with biases--even hair stereotyping--it affects how young women see themselves and their potential to succeed. With over half a million female graduates every year, this requirement poses a limit to their prospect of landing jobs.

Peek into what today’s young women think about berpenampilan menarik. It appears that they are redefining this job requirement to be more inclusive, however they choose to express themselves through their hair.
