Collision creates fireworks.

This Southeast Asian platform believes in the power of collaboration. The more distinctly different the collaborators are, the more powerful the outcome. The aim is to enable the fusion of two entities that have never crossed paths before and that are seemingly irrelevant to each other. The hope is to find a point where they synergise—where their spirits synchronise to come up with new, exciting objects and experiences.

A space for Southeast Asian talent, artists, artisans and craftsmen to converge and to create objects and experiences that marry fine art and function, street and sophisticated, old and new, hard and soft, traditional and irreverent, among other possibilities.

It curates objects and experiences tailor-fit to those looking for something that’s out of the ordinary to add to their collection or to simply add joy to their every day.

The brief was to reflect the POTHELMIA Brand process, philosophy and purpose: colliding seemingly disparate, sometimes divergent, entities to create fresh, new objects and experiences.

In so many ways, the logo is reflective of a subtle, sophisticated manner of collision that is reflective of the consumers that can relate to the brand: Config Condensed Light X Kiona. Config Condensed Light Font is slender, narrow and takes on the stereotypical character of a high-calibre, classic luxury brand. On the other hand, the injection of a Kiona Font that is perfectly geometrical in the “O” creates a personality that is playful, daring and unexpected. All in all, it’s what POTHELMIA is all about: creativity that is unexpected by way of collision as both a process and an output.
